Job Summary

The Associate Interior Designer will support the design and execution teams in space planning, preparation of drawings, site coordination, and project documentation. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, vendors, and contractors, along with travel to company branches for project execution and establishment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in space planning and development of interior design concepts

• Prepare and update 2D drawings, layouts, and basic 3D views as per project requirements

• Support senior designers during site visits and execution phases

• Coordinate with site supervisors, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution

• Monitor on-site activities and report deviations from approved drawings or plans

• Assist in resolving routine site-related issues under supervision

• Support preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and basic material specifications

• Maintain and update project drawings, approvals, and documentation accurately

• Ensure all drawings reflect current site conditions and revisions

• Travel to company branches for project setup, coordination, and execution activities

Required Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of interior design principles and space planning

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp

• Exposure to 3ds Max or Revit will be an added advantage

• Basic knowledge of materials, finishes, and furniture

• Willingness to travel and adapt to multi-location project requirements

• Strong willingness to learn site execution and coordination processes

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong organizational and documentation abilities

Experience

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in interior design or project execution
