AutoCAD Designer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Design Engineer who can handle complete design-to-production responsibilities. The candidate will work on client-based projects, develop accurate engineering designs, create tool drawings, and support CNC/VMC programming and production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD based on client requirements

• Convert client proposals and concepts into practical engineering designs

• Prepare detailed technical drawings, layouts, and fabrication drawings

• Design and develop tools, fixtures, and components for manufacturing

• Work on laser cutting and waterjet cutting machine-related designs

• Ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability, cost, and efficiency

• Coordinate closely with the production, fabrication, and quality teams

• Support CNC & VMC program setup and assist until production completion

• Review and modify designs based on production feedback and improvements

• Maintain proper documentation of all design files and revisions

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Strong proficiency in:

  • AutoCAD (2D & 3D) – Mandatory

  • SolidWorks – Preferred

  • Flow software – Mandatory

• Good knowledge of:

  • Sheet metal design and fabrication processes

  • Machining and manufacturing methods

  • Engineering drawing standards and GD&T basics

• Basic understanding of:

  • CNC & VMC operations and programming concepts
    Key Competencies:

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

    • Ability to handle projects from design to production stage

    • Good communication and teamwork skills

    • Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience)
