Job Title - Architect Cum Project Manager

Location: Chandigarh (hybrid, few days in office each week) | Experience: 5+ years | Salary: Rs 35,000 - Rs 45,000 per month

ABOUT DESIGNBUILD.VILLAS

DesignBuild.Villas is a luxury design and build consultancy based in New Delhi, working across India on villa communities and boutique hospitality projects. We work with HNI clients and select developers who expect precision, honesty and a well-run site.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an Architect - Project Manager who is a designer first. Most of your time will go into designing villas, working on master plans and hospitality projects. The rest goes into staying connected with the site, so your designs are actually built the way you intended.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Design (about 70% of the role)

• Design villas end to end, from concept to detailed working drawings

• Prepare plans, elevations, sections and drawing sets for villa projects

• Work on master planning for larger, multi-villa developments

• Design boutique hospitality projects such as resorts and boutique hotels

• Coordinate the design with structural, MEP and other consultants

• Revise and refine designs based on client feedback and site realities

Site & Project Coordination (about 30% of the role)

• Visit site periodically to check the design is being executed correctly

• Coordinate with the site team and contractors on design-related queries

• Flag design or site issues early, before they turn into rework

• Support progress tracking and quality checks alongside the site team

WHAT YOU NEED

• B Arch degree from a recognized institute

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture and project execution

• Site management experience, enough to guide execution of your own designs

• Proven experience creating drawings for villa projects

• Experience with master planning of larger developments

• Experience working on hospitality projects (resorts, boutique hotels, or similar)

• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Free CAD and similar design tools

• Comfortable working directly with HNI clients and being on site regularly
