As a Trading Services Associate I within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in the seamless execution of trade activities, from order entry to settlement. While still developing, your expertise in market products and understanding of automation technologies will be instrumental in optimizing our trading services. You will be expected to leverage your proficiency in change management and continuous improvement to enhance the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform Your role will also allow you to keep developing your relationships with internal stakeholders, presenting insights to senior management, and driving process improvements. Your decisions will contribute and impact on short-term team and department goals, and you will often guide others in their work activities, contributing to the overall success of our trading services. Job responsibilities Prepare and analyze trading reports for management review, actively participating in team meetings and contributing to strategic discussions. Assist in training and mentoring junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Manage ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to addressing emerging needs. Create and accurately capture of all transactions in the Risk Management Systems Support the Dodd Frank and ISDA legal documentation processes Act on intraday/end-of-day processes including completeness and reconciliation checks to ensure capture of new trading activity and general book management has been processed accurately Work closely with Operations functions and infrastructure groups to support a ‘one team approach’ Confirm all controls are diligently performed, completed, and signed-off on a timely basis Create clear and concise communication with all support teams to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of queries Participate and contribute to the various strategic initiatives; keep improving and evolving processes and business architecture Build an in-depth understanding of all trading structures from both a financial and operational perspective Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: Understand all relevant derivatives and hedging products (Interest Rate Swaps, Basis Swaps, Cross Currency swaps, Forward Rate Agreement (FRA), Foreign Exchange (FX), Zero Coupon and Overnight Index Swaps (OIS), Bond and Futures) Knowledge of the front to back Operations process (including the key elements such as ISDA & Dodd Frank documentation and confirmations, settlements, regulatory reporting) and facilitate issue resolution across teams Understand the key elements of other infrastructure groups (i.e. Finance, Market risk, Credit risk, Operational risk, Legal, Collateral etc.) and recognize the impact of the actions of the Trade support team on these areas Must have clear communication skills and an ability to use these to work collaboratively, explain, and challenge, as appropriate Attention to details and sense of ownership. Great team player able to work in a pressurized and changing environment Possess strong analytical and numerical skills Strong problem-solving, control, and project management skills Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: Proficiency in trading platforms and software, demonstrating the ability to effectively navigate and optimize these tools. Understanding of regulatory requirements in the trading industry, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards. Capability to leverage digital literacy for adopting and integrating innovative technologies, enhancing trade services and operational efficiency. Strong technical skills, with a focus on Excel (VBA is a plus), Intelligent Solutions (Alteryx, Tableau), Python and AI knowledge is a plus
