We are looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for our trading company. The candidate should be well-versed in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and Indian taxation norms, and capable of handling high-volume purchase and sales transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally Prime

• Record purchase, sales, debit/credit notes, and journal entries

• Manage accounts receivable & payable, including follow-ups

• Handle GST compliance:

• GSTR-1, GSTR-3B

• GST reconciliation with purchase/sales registers

• Perform bank reconciliation and cash management

• Manage stock/inventory accounting and reconciliation

• Coordinate with logistics and sales teams for billing accuracy

• Prepare monthly MIS reports using MS Excel

• Assist in audits and respond to auditor queries

• Ensure timely closure of monthly and yearly accounts

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a trading company

• Strong expertise in Tally Prime

• Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reconciliation sheets)

• Languages mandatory:

• English

• Hindi

• Marathi

• Good knowledge of GST, invoicing, and stock management

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience handling high-volume billing

• Understanding of credit cycles and payment terms common in trading businesses

• Honest, disciplined, and dependable—qualities every Indian business owner values

• Ability to coordinate smoothly with sales, warehouse, and management teams
