Job Description – Tally Accountant / Accounts Executive
Position: Tally Accountant / Accounts Executive
Location: Krishna Tech Park, Kadubeesanahalli, Bengaluru
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience: Fresher to 2 years
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally Prime.
Record purchase, sales, receipt, payment and journal vouchers.
Maintain and reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.
Perform bank reconciliation and monitor outstanding payments/receivables.
Assist in preparation and checking of GST-related data and reports.
Handle invoices, bills, debit/credit notes and supporting documents.
Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
Assist with TDS, GST, e-invoicing and e-way bill related work.
Prepare basic MIS and accounting reports using MS Excel.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors and clients regarding accounts-related matters.
Support the senior accountant/management in monthly closing and other accounting activities.
Required Skills:
Good practical knowledge of Tally Prime.
Basic knowledge of GST and Indian accounting practices.
Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
Understanding of debit/credit, ledger, journal, trial balance, P&L and balance sheet.
Good numerical and analytical ability.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred:
Experience with GST filing/data preparation.
Knowledge of TDS.
Knowledge of payroll accounting.
Experience with bank reconciliation.
Candidates who have completed a Tally + GST + Advanced Excel course will be preferred.
