Receive incoming cement, steel, aggregates, bricks, MEP supplies, and equipment, verifying them against delivery challans and purchase orders for quantity, quality, and damage. Maintain daily stock registers, bin cards, or computerized ERP/inventory software to track all receipts, issues, and returns. Issue construction materials to site engineers, contractors, or laborers strictly based on approved material requisitions or indents. Conduct regular (daily, weekly, and monthly) physical stock checks and report discrepancies, shortages, or overages to the site engineer. Organize materials systematically, prevent theft or weather damage, and maintain site store safety and fire protocols. Coordinate with procurement teams, site engineers, and transport vendors to schedule timely deliveries and manage reorder levels. Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), material balance summaries, tool logs, and scrap/wastage reports.
