About the Role

Xpertax Auditing Bazaar Private Limited is looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing end-to-end accounting, statutory registrations, taxation, and compliance activities while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage day-to-day accounting operations.

• Maintain books of accounts using accounting software.

• Prepare financial statements, Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Accounts, and MIS reports.

• Handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger scrutiny.

• Prepare and file GST, TDS, Income Tax, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances within due dates.

• Manage company registrations, amendments, and compliance-related documentation.

• Coordinate with clients, government departments, auditors, and consultants regarding statutory matters.

• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• Maintain accurate financial records and safeguard confidential financial information.

• Support internal and statutory audits by preparing required documents and reconciliations.

• Identify process improvements and implement best accounting practices.

• Perform additional finance, taxation, and compliance-related responsibilities assigned by management.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent.

• CA Inter (Intern/Qualified CA Inter candidates preferred).

• Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.

• Immediate joiners will be given preference.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.

• Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC compliances, and statutory registrations.

• Good understanding of bookkeeping and accounting standards.

• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and other accounting software.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in a CA firm, consulting firm, or accounting outsourcing environment.

• Ability to independently manage multiple client accounts.

• Strong understanding of business registrations and regulatory compliances.

• Positive attitude, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn.

• Immediate availability to join.
