Hiring: Senior Accountant (Transport & Fleet Operations)

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to independently manage the complete accounting and financial operations of our transport business. The candidate should be capable of handling third-party vehicle accounts, fuel expenses, staff and driver payments, GST, TDS, reconciliations, MIS reporting, and overall financial control.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain complete books of accounts on a daily basis.
* Manage third-party vehicle accounts and vendor reconciliations.
* Record and verify fuel expenses (Diesel, Petrol & CNG).
* Handle driver advances, settlements, salaries, and staff payroll coordination.
* Manage accounts receivable and payable.
* Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
* Perform bank reconciliations and payment reconciliations.
* Generate monthly MIS reports, P&L, and business performance reports.
* Coordinate with management for budgeting and financial planning
* Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
* Ensure timely closing of monthly accounts.
Required Skills
* 5–10+ years of accounting experience.
* Experience in the Transport, Logistics, Fleet, or Travel industry will be preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
* Ability to work independently and handle complete accounts without supervision.
* Strong analytical, communication, and team management skills.
Qualification
* B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent.
Salary
Salary will be based on experience and interview performance.
