Position Details

Job Title: Senior Accountant – UK Accounting

Experience: 5+ Years

Employment Type: Full Time

Department: UK Accounts Delivery

Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Client Manager

Key Responsibilities

·       End-to-end bookkeeping for UK clients

·       Preparation and review of VAT returns

·       Processing UK payroll

·       Preparation of year-end accounts and working papers

·       Bank, supplier and customer reconciliations

·       Accounts payable and receivable management

·       Ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards

·       Handling UK client communication professionally

·       Meeting client deadlines and SLAs

·       Reviewing junior accountant work when required

Required Skills

·       Strong accounting fundamentals

·       Knowledge of UK bookkeeping

·       VAT and payroll exposure

·       Strong reconciliation skills

·       Financial statement understanding

·       Excellent English communication

·       Professional email writing skills

Software Requirements

·       QuickBooks

·       Xero

·       VT Accounts

·       Hubdoc

·       Dext

·       TaxCalc

Eligibility Criteria

Education: B.Com / M.Com (Commerce background mandatory)

Preferred: CA Inter / ACCA pursuing

Experience: Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience

UK accounting or outsourcing experience preferred
