Job Description: Senior Accountant

Salary Range: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Employment Type: Full-Time

About Us

Weare growing organization looking for a dedicated and highly organized Senior Accountant to join our team. We are seeking a reliable professional to take ownership of our daily financial bookkeeping and account finalization processes at our Noida office.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Accounting: Manage end-to-end daily accounting operations and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial ledgers.

• Marg Software Management: Utilize Marg ERP software for data entry, invoicing, inventory tracking, and financial reporting.

• Account Finalization: Independently perform month-end and year-end closing processes and account finalizations.

• Reconciliations: Conduct regular bank, vendor, and customer ledger reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Track incoming payments, manage vendor bills, and ensure timely follow-ups on outstanding dues.

• Tax Compliance Knowledge: Apply a solid understanding of Income Tax and GST regulations to ensure daily accounting entries are compliant. (Note: Direct GST/Income Tax return filing is not required, but foundational knowledge is necessary to support the auditing/filing team).

• Reporting: Prepare MIS reports, profit & loss statements, and balance sheets as requested by management.

• Record Keeping: Maintain highly organized digital and physical financial records and files.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com), Finance, or a related discipline.

• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of proven experience in a mid-to-senior accounting role.

• Software Proficiency: Hands-on, practical experience working with Marg Software is strictly required.

• Technical Skills: Strong ability to finalize accounts, handle complex accounting entries, and manage financial statements.

• Tax Knowledge: Solid conceptual understanding of current GST and Income Tax frameworks.

• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, high analytical skills, and a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
