Job Description: Senior Accountant
Experience Required: 2 to 5 Years
Location: On-site
Software Proficiency: Tally Prime (Mandatory)
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 2 to 5 years of core accounting experience to manage day-to-day financial operations, trade compliance, and reporting. The ideal candidate must be highly proficient in Tally and fully capable of handling domestic tax compliance, banking requirements, product costing, and export/import documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Core Accounting & Tally Operations: Execute daily accounting operations in Tally with strict accuracy, including precise entries for all sales bills and purchase bills.
Taxation & Compliance: Oversee GST filing, reconciliation, and ongoing GST compliance.
Banking & Reporting: Manage monthly stock statement submissions and stock updates with financing banks; prepare accurate Quarterly Performance Reports (QPR) and Annual Performance Reports (APR).
Product Costing: Perform accurate product costing analyses to monitor manufacturing margins and unit economics.
International Trade & Audits: Handle all customs-related paperwork for import/export clearances and coordinate documentation and data preparation for international audits.
Candidate Requirements
2 to 5 years of hands-on accounting experience (preferably in manufacturing or import/export environments).
Advanced practical knowledge of Tally and MS Excel.
In-depth understanding of GST regulations and customs documentation.
Proven track record in bank stock reconciliations, inventory valuation, and cost management.
