Job Description: Senior Accounts

Position Title: Senior Accounts

Location: Borivali, Mumbai On-site

Company Overview: PLENOVA Supply Chain Pvt. Ltd is a mid-sized, manufacturing firm specializing in FMCG supply chain (wooden pallet and inserts). We are seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant or CA Inter to lead our finance operations, ensuring statutory compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Experience Level: CA with 2+ preferred; CA Inter with relevant post-articleship experience considered

Salary Range: ₹6–9 LPA (Fresh CA) / ₹4–6 LPA (CA Inter with 2 Years Exp)

Key Responsibilities:

• Tax & GST Management: Oversee end-to-end direct/indirect tax compliance, including Income Tax returns, TDS filings, GST reconciliation, input tax credit claims, and advance rulings. Handle audits and assessments with authorities.

• Litigation Response: Prepare and coordinate responses to tax notices, appeals, and litigations (e.g., GST disputes, ITAT matters). Liaise with legal advisors for timely resolutions.

• Accounting & Auditing: Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation using Tally/ERP systems. Lead statutory audits (under Companies Act/Ind AS) and ensure accurate month-end/year-end closings.

• Internal Audit Procedures: Design, implement, and conduct internal audits to assess controls, risk management, and process efficiencies. Recommend improvements to mitigate fraud/compliance gaps.

• Team Leadership: Supervise a team of 6 (juniors/accountants), conduct training, delegate tasks, and foster a collaborative environment. Set SOPs for standardized processes across finance functions.

• Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely filing of statutory returns (e.g., ROC, PF/ESIC) and generate MIS reports for management. Monitor financial KPIs and prepare board-level financial summaries.

• Process Optimization: Develop and enforce procedures for cost control, budgeting, and vendor payments. Stay updated on regulatory changes (e.g., Budget 2025 amendments) and integrate them into operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational: Qualified CA (ICAI) or CA Inter (with Articleship completion). B.Com/M.Com preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in tax/accounting/audit roles; proven team-handling experience a plus.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally Prime, GSTN portal; knowledge Ind AS.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, leadership abilities, and excellent communication for stakeholder interactions.

• Certifications: Additional quals GST certification advantageous.
