Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Mazgaon, Mumbai

About the Company:
The role is for a client company, Classique Elements LLP, which is engaged in the business of commercial kitchen and bakery equipment. It operates as a full-fledged business dealing in trading and inventory, and may also have a showroom presence.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Accountant who is detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of independently managing end-to-end accounting functions in a trading and inventory-driven environment.
Eligibility Criteria:
Experience: 4 to 5+ years
Education: B.Com (mandatory)
Strong hands-on experience in accounting and compliance
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in accounting, preferably in trading and inventory-based companies
Proficiency in Tally and other accounting software
Working knowledge of cost centers
Strong understanding of import and export transactions
Knowledge of statutory compliance: GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, and customs
Strong reconciliation skills (inventory, branch, intercompany)
Good written communication and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership
Key Responsibilities:
Handle overall accounting operations of the company
Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures, including journals and reconciliations
Prepare and file GST and TDS returns, ensuring compliance
Assist in PF, ESIC, PT, and customs-related filings
Coordinate with internal and external auditors
Stay updated with tax laws and ensure regulatory compliance
Manage communication with customers, vendors, and stakeholders
Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data
