Role Overview:
· As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization.
· Your role will encompass financial reporting, budgeting, and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations.
· The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and leadership.
Responsibilities:
1.Financial Management:
· Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
· Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.
· Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic financial decisions.
2.Accounting Operations:
· Supervise and lead the accounting team in day-to-day operations.
· Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
· Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions.
3.Budgeting and Forecasting:
· Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.
· Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses.
· Identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
4.Compliance and Auditing:
· Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
· Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
· Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
5.Financial Reporting:
· Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership.
· Communicate financial results and insights to non-financial stakeholders.
· Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Senior Accountant or similar role.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
