Job Description for Senior Accountant
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Accountant to oversee the financial health of our institute and cafe operations. The ideal candidate is a "numbers person" who possesses an impeccable eye for detail, deep technical knowledge of Indian taxation, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly to management.
Key Responsibilities
~Manage all day-to-day accounting transactions using Tally Prime.
~Prepare, analyze, and maintain accurate Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss (P&L) Accounts.
~Handle end-to-end GST Reconciliation and filing.
~Manage TDS deductions, payments, and returns.
~Ensure all filings comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
~Ensure the organization stays 100% compliant with all local financial policies and government regulations.
~Monitor cash flow, verify vendor invoices, and manage payroll-related accounting data.
~Utilize Advanced MS Excel for financial modelling, data sorting, and high-level reporting.
