Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 5+ years of experience, preferably in the real estate industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Monitor project-wise accounting and cost tracking for real estate developments.

• Process vendor payments, customer receipts, and maintain financial records.

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations.

• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and related documentation.

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities during audits.

• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

• Assist management with budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and financial planning.

• Generate MIS reports and provide financial insights for decision-making.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records in ERP/Tally systems.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Expertise in GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP, Busy, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.

• CA Inter / M.Com preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, construction, or infrastructure sectors.
