Senior Accountant

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations, ensure accuracy in accounting records, and support strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations

• Prepare and review financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow)

• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing processes

• Monitor accounts payable and receivable

• Handle bank reconciliations and general ledger management

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

• Coordinate with auditors and handle internal/external audits

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CA Intermediate / IPCC qualified (preferred)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles

• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, GST, TDS, and tax regulations

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zohobooks , SAP)

• Advanced MS Excel skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Good communication and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in handling audits and compliance

• Knowledge of financial reporting and MIS

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work under deadlines
