Senior Accountant

We are looking for an Senior Accountant to join our team at Cosben Engineering Private Limited. The role involves managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The position offers ₹35,000 - ₹52,000 and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Check & manage daily accounting tasks including payments, deposits, and expenses.

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and budget forecasts.

• Balance/match bank statements and ensure timely completion of tax filings.

• Audit financial records to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

• Analyze financial data to provide insights on the company’s liquidity and financial health.

Job Requirements:

Oversee and manage the accounting and compliance team, ensuring their skill development through training and supervision.

Implement systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting processes.

Independently prepare and file various tax returns, including GST and TDS

Prepare comprehensive financial statements, such as balance sheets and income statements, to provide accurate and timely insights.

Accurately record all financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and reconcile accounts to maintain consistency.

Conduct monthly and quarterly reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and ledger maintenance.

Assist the finance team in preparing various management reports.

Coordinate semi-annual audits and actively participate in the audit process under the guidance of the CFO.

Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and accounting principles.

Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Possess strong analytical skills to identify and resolve accounting issues.

Effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
