Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities including GST, TDS, payroll processing, statutory compliances, and accounting entries. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of taxation and accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain sales and purchase entries in accounting software.
Prepare and file GST returns and ensure GST compliance.
Handle TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing.
Process Payroll including salary calculations and statutory deductions.
Manage ESIC and PF registrations, calculations, and monthly filings.
Generate and manage E-Way Bills for goods movement.
Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audits.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants when required.
Required Skills
Good knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, and ESIC regulations.
Experience with accounting software (Tally or similar).
Strong understanding of sales and purchase accounting entries.
Basic knowledge of E-Way Bill generation and compliance.
Good Excel and documentation skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial records.
Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.
1–3 years experience in accounting and statutory compliance preferred.
