Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including ledger entries, invoicing, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle GST filings, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial planning
Maintain accurate records of inventory, purchases, and sales (especially iron/steel materials)
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management
Ensure timely closure of books and reporting
Supervise junior accounting staff

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com preferred)
CA Inter / CMA (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Indian taxation (GST, TDS)
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy, or ERP systems)
Advanced Excel skills
