Senior Accountant

1. Accounting & Book-keeping

• Maintain day-to-day financial records in accounting software such as Tally.

• Record journal entries, manage ledgers, and categorize expenses.

• Maintain records of stock, fixed assets, and consumables.

• Ensure accurate and organized filing of all financial documents including bills, vouchers, and receipts.

2. Financial Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

• Generate MIS and cost analysis reports for management review.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes for various projects assigned.

• General Budget& Forecasting.

3. GST, Payroll & Statutory Compliance

• Manage compliance and timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-1A, GSTR-3B.

• Ensure EPF, ESIC & PT compliance, challan generation, and return filing.

• Handle business partner billings, purchase order generation, and ensure billing matches work execution.

• Prepare and issue rate quotations to ISPs and corporate clients as per project scope.

• Reconcile GSTR data and input credits with vendor invoices.

4. Banking & Reconciliation

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure consistency with books of accounts.

• Manage petty cash, staff reimbursements, and online payments including NEFT/RTGS/UPI.

• Handle vendor payments and track fund flow between sites, partners, and head office.

5. Payroll & Employee Payments

• Coordinate with HR for salary processing.

• Ensure timely payment of salaries and statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, PT).

• Maintain salary registers and assist with employee tax declarations.

6. Vendor & Client Coordination

• Maintain vendor accounts, track due payments, and handle TDS deductions.

• Raise and track invoices for clients including Jio Air Fiber-related projects.

• Maintain aging reports of receivables and follow up with clients for timely payments.

7. Audit & Documentation

• Prepare data for statutory, internal, and tax audits.

• Coordinate with external auditors and consultants.

• Maintain all necessary financial records as per compliance with ROC, Income Tax, GST, and MCA norms.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in Tally ERP / Prime, Excel, and government portals (GST, EPF, ESIC, MCA).

• Deep understanding of Indian taxation and statutory requirements.

• Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and reconciliation.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills for internal and partner coordination.

• Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or equivalent.

• M.Com / CA Inter / MBA in Finance preferred
