Key Responsibilities:
Maintain books of accounts for real estate projects
Handle day-to-day accounting entries (Sales, Purchase, JV, Expenses, Bank, Cash)
Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
Manage project-wise accounting, cost tracking, and budget monitoring
Handle GST compliance – returns, reconciliation, and notices
Ensure TDS deductions, returns, and compliance
Coordinate with CA, auditors, and tax consultants
Prepare MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial summaries
Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers
Monitor receivables, payables, and fund flow
Assist in statutory audits and internal audits
Ensure compliance with Income Tax, GST, and other statutory laws
Maintain proper documentation and records for all transactions
prepare accurate, timely financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department
Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and other issues that should be brought to the CFO’s attention
Review all inter-company transactions and generate invoices as necessary
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Delegate financial responsibilities to accounting team
Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist CFO with conducting audits
Conduct regular ledger maintenance
