Senior Accounts Assistant – Askknatural

Location: Mumbai | Employment Type: Full-time | Experience: 1+ Year

About the Role

Askknatural is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Senior Accounts Assistant to independently manage day-to-day accounting activities across multiple business verticals, including nutrition & fitness services, D2C products, and nutritional supplements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, accounting entries, sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.

• Maintain and reconcile bank, customer, vendor, and general ledgers.

• Handle GST & TDS activities, including reconciliations and coordination with the external CA.

• Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports.

• Manage sales, receivables, vendor payments, and payment gateway/e-commerce reconciliations through Razorpay, Stripe, Shopify, etc.

• Maintain inventory records and assist with stock reconciliation and valuation.

• Assist with payroll accounting and applicable statutory deductions/compliances.

• Maintain audit-ready financial documentation and support internal/external audits.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS, and reconciliations.

• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.

• Excel skills: VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, IF, and basic data analysis.

• Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and confidentiality.

• Ability to independently manage multiple business verticals.

Qualification & Experience

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience is mandatory. Experience in e-commerce, D2C, FMCG, wellness, supplements, or product-based businesses will be preferred.

Preferred: Zoho Books and experience with Shopify, Razorpay, or Stripe.
