Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.

• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Monitor cash flow, bank balances, and working capital requirements.

• Ensure timely bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.

2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Manage GST returns, TDS deductions, and other applicable tax filings.

• Maintain proper documentation for tax assessments and audits.

3. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, budgets, and financial statements.

• Analyze expenses, revenue, and profitability.

• Identify cost-control opportunities and support management in financial decision-making.

• Provide accurate financial data and reports to senior management.

5. Banking & Vendor Management

• Coordinate with banks regarding payments, fund transfers, and banking documentation.

• Monitor vendor payments, customer outstanding balances, and payment schedules.

• Maintain proper records of banking activities and financial transactions.

6. Audit & Internal Controls

• Coordinate internal and statutory audits.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

• Implement effective internal financial controls and accounting procedures.

Skills...

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, GST, and TDS.

• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel.

• Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and team management abilities.

• High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely completion of monthly financial closing.

• Accuracy of financial statements and MIS reports.

• Timely filing of GST, TDS, and other applicable returns.

• Timely bank and ledger reconciliation.

• Effective control over outstanding payments and receivables.
