Key Responsibilities
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for a range of financial and accounting activities, including:
Bookkeeping and General Ledger:
Recording all financial transactions accurately and timely in Tally or other relevant accounting software.
Maintaining the General Ledger and ensuring proper classification of accounts.
Tax Compliance and Reporting:
Managing all aspects of GST (Goods and Services Tax), including input tax credit claims, timely preparation, and filing of GST returns.
Handling TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance, including deduction, deposit, and return filing.
Assisting in the preparation of statutory financial statements.
Billing and Invoicing:
Processing and generating customer invoices (billing) and managing vendor bills accurately.
Following up on outstanding receivables.
Reconciliations:
Performing regular Bank Reconciliations to ensure consistency between bank statements and internal ledger balances.
Reconciling vendor and customer accounts.
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Assisting in Data Finalization at the end of the month/quarter/year.
Preparing and assisting in the finalization of the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
Generating various financial reports for management review.
Software and Tools:
Utilizing MS Excel for advanced data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation tasks (e.g., using functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
Audit and Support:
Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
