About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented R2R (Record to Report) professional to join our finance and accounting team. The candidate will be responsible for managing general accounting activities, month-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities.

• Handle General Ledger (GL) accounting and journal entries.

• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.

• Ensure accurate financial reporting and variance analysis.

• Process accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset accounting.

• Perform intercompany accounting and reconciliations.

• Support internal and external audit requirements.

• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, policies, and SOPs.

• Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or process improvements.

• Work closely with AP, AR, Treasury, and other finance teams.

• Ensure timely preparation of MIS reports and management reports.

• Support transition and process improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• 1–5 years of experience in R2R / General Accounting domain.

• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle ERP, or similar platforms.

• Strong knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in shared services or BPO/KPO environment.

• Knowledge of Blackline or reconciliation tools is an advantage.

• Exposure to IFRS/GAAP standards will be preferred.
