Data Entry & Bookkeeping:
Maintain accurate financial records by entering accounting transactions into the company's accounting software.
Record invoices, payments, and receipts in the system.
Monitor and update the general ledger and ensure proper documentation for each transaction.
Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements with the company’s financial records to ensure accuracy.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Assist with the processing of vendor invoices and ensure timely payment.
Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables to ensure prompt collection.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Prepare financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and accounting standards.
Maintain organized and accurate financial records, supporting documentation, and reports.
Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and liaise with auditors when required.
Tax Compliance:
Assist in preparing GST returns and other tax-related reports.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Other Administrative Tasks:
Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and special projects.
Maintain filing systems for financial documents and correspondence.
Assist with payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
