Job Title: Travel Accountant
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 6 Months – 1 Year
Joining: Immediate Joiner Preferred
Job Description:
We are looking for a Travel Accountant with experience in travel-industry accounting and knowledge of platforms such as TripJack and MakeMyTrip (MMT). The candidate will be responsible for maintaining travel-related financial transactions, reconciliations, invoices, and payment records.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting transactions related to travel bookings.
Maintain records of flight, hotel, and holiday package transactions.
Handle booking payments, invoices, refunds, and cancellations.
Reconcile TripJack, MakeMyTrip (MMT), and other travel portal transactions.
Maintain customer and vendor accounts.
Track receivables and payables.
Perform bank and ledger reconciliation.
Verify booking invoices and payment details.
Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
Assist with monthly financial reports and other accounting activities.
Requirements:
6 months to 1 year of relevant accounting/travel accounting experience.
Experience with TripJack and MakeMyTrip (MMT) is preferred.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Knowledge of Tally/Zoho or other accounting software.
Good knowledge of MS Excel.
Good attention to detail and numerical skills.
Hindi knowledge preferred.
Bangalore candidates preferred.
Immediate joiners preferred.
Education: B.Com / M.Com / Any relevant accounting qualification.
