Junior Accountant – Accounts & Administration

Role Overview

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting, statutory documentation and basic office administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally.

• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments and journal vouchers.

• Assist with GST and TDS working, documentation and filing coordination.

• Perform bank, cash and ledger reconciliations.

• Process vendor invoices and maintain supporting records.

• Track employee reimbursements, advances and expense statements.

• Assist in preparing monthly payroll inputs and related records.

• Maintain petty cash with proper supporting documentation.

• Support outstanding-payment tracking and accounts follow-ups.

• Organise accounting, vendor and administrative records for audits and internal review.

• Coordinate with Accounts, HR, vendors and other departments as required.

Candidate Requirements

• B.Com or an equivalent qualification.

• Minimum one year of relevant accounting experience.

• Working knowledge of Tally, GST, TDS and bank reconciliation.

• Comfortable working with MS Excel and accounting documentation.

• Accurate, organised and responsible with financial records.

• Good communication and follow-up skills.

• Ability to work independently within defined processes and timelines.
