Junior Accountant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance team. The candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments
Perform bank and account reconciliations
Track and monitor company expenses
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Assist in tax filing and compliance documentation
Maintain proper financial records and documentation for audits
Collaborate with senior accountants and finance team members

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Basic understanding of accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to meet deadlines and work in a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Internship or 0–2 years of accounting experience
Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic tax regulations (especially relevant in India)
