GeM Order Management Executive

About the Role

Droneyards Aerial Solution Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a GeM Order Management Executive to manage the complete execution of orders received through the Government e-Marketplace (GeM). The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination between customers, production, logistics, finance, and internal teams to deliver orders accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

• Handle end-to-end execution of GeM purchase orders.

• Review purchase orders and verify technical and commercial requirements.

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order processing.

• Track order progress from confirmation to final delivery.

Documentation

• Prepare delivery challans, invoices, warranty certificates, installation reports, and other required documents.

• Maintain complete records of all order-related documentation.

• Ensure compliance with GeM and customer documentation requirements.

Coordination

• Coordinate with production, procurement, stores, and logistics teams.

• Communicate with government departments regarding delivery schedules and documentation.

• Resolve order-related queries and coordinate issue resolution.

Dispatch & Delivery

• Plan and monitor dispatch activities.

• Coordinate with logistics partners for timely deliveries.

• Track shipments and ensure successful order completion.

Order Tracking & Reporting

• Maintain order status reports and delivery timelines.

• Update management on pending deliveries, completed orders, and operational issues.

• Ensure all milestones are completed within committed timelines.

Payment Support

• Coordinate with the finance team for invoice submission.

• Assist in tracking payment status and resolving documentation issues related to payments.

Skills Required

• Experience working with the GeM Portal and government purchase orders.

• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PDF documentation.

• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.

• 1–3 years of experience in GeM order management, procurement, logistics, or government project coordination.

• Experience working with defence, government, or PSU customers is an added advantage.
