💼 Role Overview
An Accounts Manager in a wedding planning company handles all financial aspects of events—from budgeting to vendor payments—ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
📊 Key Responsibilities
Budget Planning: Create and manage budgets for weddings (which can range from small events to luxury multi-day celebrations).
Client Billing: Prepare invoices, track payments, and follow up with clients.
Vendor Payments: Coordinate payments to decorators, caterers, photographers, venues, etc.
Cost Control: Monitor expenses to avoid overspending.
Financial Reporting: Maintain records, generate reports, and ensure transparency.
Tax & Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, and other financial regulations relevant in India.
🧾 Skills Required
Strong knowledge of accounting (Tally, GST, Excel)
Attention to detail (weddings have many small expenses!)
Communication skills (dealing with clients & vendors)
Time management (tight deadlines during wedding season)
🎓 Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred
Experience in accounting or event management industry is a plus
