About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Deputy Manager – Finance & Accounts to oversee financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and team management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including GST, TDS, Income Tax, and Companies Act requirements.

• Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund management.

• Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory, tax, and internal audits.

• Ensure timely completion of financial closing activities.

• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.

• Develop and implement financial controls and process improvements.

• Prepare MIS reports and present financial insights to management.

• Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team.

Required Qualifications

• Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) or MBA in Finance/Accounting.

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.

• Experience in budgeting, audit coordination, and statutory compliance.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in manufacturing or corporate finance environment.

• Knowledge of financial planning and internal controls.

• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
