Designation: Billing Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Billing Executive to manage customer billing, invoice generation, payment records, and related documentation. The candidate should have good numerical ability, basic accounting knowledge, and proficiency in computer applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Generate accurate customer invoices and bills as per company policies.

- Prepare quotations, invoices, receipts, credit/debit notes, and other billing documents as required.

- Verify customer details, product/service details, quantities, prices, discounts, taxes, and totals before generating invoices.

- Maintain accurate records of invoices, sales, payments, and outstanding amounts.

- Handle billing-related queries from customers and coordinate with the sales/accounts team for resolution.

- Record and update customer payments in the billing/accounting system.

- Follow up on pending payments and outstanding invoices when required.

- Coordinate with the Sales, Accounts, Store, and other departments for accurate billing.

- Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and supporting documents.

- Assist in reconciliation of billing and payment records.

- Ensure timely submission of daily/weekly/monthly billing reports.

- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial and customer information.

- Support the Accounts team in other billing and administrative activities as assigned.

Skills & Competencies

- Good numerical and analytical skills.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Basic knowledge of billing, invoicing, GST, and accounting principles.

- Good computer knowledge and proficiency in MS Excel.

- Experience with billing/accounting software such as Tally or ERP software will be an advantage.

- Good communication and customer-handling skills.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple tasks.

- Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented approach.

- Ability to coordinate effectively with different departments.
