Job Summary
The Billing Executive will be responsible for accurately processing customer/patient billing transactions, generating invoices, collecting payments, maintaining billing records, and providing efficient support to patients/customers. The role requires accuracy, good communication skills, and the ability to handle billing-related queries professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Generate accurate bills and invoices for patients/customers as per the applicable services or products.
Verify billing details, rates, discounts, taxes, and payment information before finalizing bills.
Handle cash, card, UPI, and other approved payment transactions.
Provide receipts and payment confirmations to customers/patients.
Handle billing corrections, cancellations, refunds, and adjustments as per company policy.
Coordinate with Pharmacy, Front Office, Accounts, Insurance/TPA, and other departments for billing-related requirements.
Verify prescriptions, service details, patient information, and other supporting documents wherever applicable.
Maintain daily billing and collection records.
Ensure proper cash reconciliation at the end of the shift.
Submit daily collection reports and supporting documents to the concerned department.
Resolve customer/patient queries related to billing and payments professionally.
Ensure all billing transactions are entered correctly in the ERP/POS/billing system.
Maintain confidentiality of patient/customer and financial information.
Follow company policies, billing procedures, and internal controls.
Support internal and statutory audits by providing required billing records and documents.
Ensure proper handover of cash, documents, and pending billing transactions during shift changes.
