About the Role
We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance & Accounting to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in IFRS reporting, audit coordination, accounting operations, month-end closing activities, and financial consolidation. The role requires excellent analytical skills, stakeholder management, and the ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
Handle financial consolidation for group entities and ensure accuracy in reporting.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during statutory and internal audits.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
Support preparation of management reports, MIS, and financial analysis.
Work closely with cross-functional teams for financial reporting and process improvements.
Monitor general ledger activities and ensure accounting accuracy.
Assist in implementation and improvement of finance processes and internal controls.
Ensure timely reporting and adherence to corporate timelines.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards.
Experience in audit handling and financial reporting.
Good understanding of consolidation and intercompany accounting.
Hands-on experience in month-end closing processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory.
4–8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
Experience in corporate accounting/reporting environment preferred.
Prior exposure to multinational or consulting environment will be an advantage.
