Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and hands-on experience working with SAP.

The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities, month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute end-to-end R2R (Record-to-Report) activities.

• Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes.

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.

• Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.

• Review balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.

• Prepare financial reports and management reports as required.

• Ensure accurate accounting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.

• Work on SAP for accounting transactions, reporting, reconciliations, and financial close activities.

• Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and other stakeholders for finance-related requirements.

• Support statutory, internal, and external audits.

• Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement and automation initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and finance processes.

• Analyze financial data and investigate variances or discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.

• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification/relevant experience in Finance & Accounting.

• Strong understanding of R2R / General Ledger accounting.

• Hands-on or working knowledge of SAP, preferably SAP FI/CO.

• Good understanding of month-end and year-end closing.

• Strong knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and financial reporting.

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in an SAP-driven finance environment.

• Experience with process improvement, automation, or finance transformation projects.

• Knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS would be an advantage.

• Experience in handling audits and financial reporting.

• Exposure to multinational / shared-service / corporate finance environments will be an added advantage.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a qualified CA with 2+ years of experience, strong R2R and accounting knowledge, and practical exposure to SAP. The candidate should be detail-oriented, comfortable working with deadlines, and capable of independently managing financial close and reporting activities.
