Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
Maintain and review books of accounts, ledgers, journals, and financial records.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, and cash flow.
Analyse store-wise and business-unit-wise financial performance.
Ensure accurate accounting of cake, pastry, patties, and other bakery product sales.
2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
Manage GST returns, reconciliations, and related compliance.
Oversee TDS, income tax, and other applicable statutory filings.
Ensure timely payment of taxes and statutory dues.
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities.
Maintain proper documentation for assessments and notices.
3. Costing & Inventory Control
Review product costing, including raw materials, labour, packaging, and production overheads.
Monitor wastage, returns, and inventory valuation.
Analyse production costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
Coordinate with Purchase, Store, Production, Dispatch, and Accounts teams.
Review stock reconciliation and investigate discrepancies.
4. Payroll & Employee Compliance
Review salary calculations, PF, ESIC, PTAX, bonus, and other applicable deductions.
Ensure payroll records are accurate and statutory payments are made on time.
Coordinate with HR for employee-related financial and compliance matters.
5. Budgeting & Financial Planning
Prepare budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor actual expenses against budget.
Provide financial advice to management for business decisions.
Support franchise expansion and store profitability analysis.
6. Internal Control & Audit
Establish and monitor internal financial controls.
