· Performing Statutory, Tax and Internal Audits for Corporate Companies.
· Consulting in the field of Direct & Indirect Taxation
· Maintaining financial records and verifying the data are the basic responsibilities of an audit clerk
· Maintaining and compiling all the information related to the accounting and finance department
· Prepare & File Income Tax, GST, Service Tax & VAT Returns, Reports, etc.
· Represent on behalf of clients before Departmental Officers & Staff
Key Responsibilities:
Maintained books of accounts by recording day-to-day financial transactions and passing journal entries.
Prepared financial statements including Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
Assisted in Income Tax Return (ITR) preparation and filing for individuals and firms.
Handled TDS computation, return filing (24Q, 26Q) and reconciliation with Form 26AS.
Worked on GST compliance including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and ITC reconciliation (2B vs books).
Performed bank reconciliation (BRS) and resolved discrepancies.
Conducted ledger scrutiny and vendor/customer reconciliation.
Assisted in statutory and internal audits, including vouching and verification of documents.
Prepared audit working papers and supported in audit report drafting.
Managed payroll processing and calculation of TDS on salary.
Coordinated with clients for data collection and ensured timely compliance.
Assisted in ROC filings and other regulatory compliances..
