Banking Operations Executive - Trade Finance & Payment Processing

Operations Team Member_WBG OPERATIONS (OPS)_0469_0261_1039404 We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to join our WBG Operations team at the Customer Service Desk. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in banking operations, particularly in RTGS/NEFT transactions, fund transfers, and tax payments. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and proficiency in Excel to support daily operational tasks and client servicing. Handle front desk activities for Trade Finance operations. Coordinate with internal teams and customers for trade-related documentation. Verify and maintain records of import/export documents. Support processing of Letters of Credit (LC), Bank Guarantees (BG), and other trade finance transactions. Track transaction status and ensure timely updates to stakeholders. Prepare MIS reports and maintain operational records. Assist in resolving customer queries and follow up on pending items. Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. Eligibility: Graduate in Commerce, Finance, Banking, Economics, or related discipline. Freshers can apply. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Basic knowledge of Trade Finance concepts will be an added advantage. Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office. Handle and process RTGS, NEFT, fund transfers, and tax payments efficiently at the branch, mid-office, or front office level. Provide prompt and accurate support to customers and internal teams regarding transaction status, payment issues, and operational queries. Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines during transaction processing. Maintain and update transaction records and reports using Excel and internal banking systems. Collaborate with other departments to resolve discrepancies or escalations related to customer transactions. Monitor transaction queues and ensure timely execution of all payment instructions. Assist in audits and internal reviews by providing necessary documentation and reports. Continuously identify areas for process improvement and contribute to enhancing service delivery.
