Audit Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dynamic Audit Executive to conduct internal audits and workshop audits for automobile dealerships and related businesses. The candidate will be responsible for on-site verification, process evaluation, and reporting of audit findings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Internal Audit Execution

• Perform internal audits as per audit plan and checklist

• Verify financial and operational data accuracy

• Evaluate internal controls and identify gaps

• Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements

2. Workshop Audit

• Conduct physical verification of inventory (spares, consumables, tools)

• Review workshop processes (job cards, billing, issue-return systems)

• Identify shortages, excess, and process deviations

• Analyze workshop efficiency and operational controls

3. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Prepare audit reports with observations, risks, and recommendations

• Use MS Excel for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting

• Present findings to management in a structured format

4. Field Work & Travel

• Visit client workshop locations across Ahmedabad, Gandhidham, and Vadodara

• Conduct on-site audits and interact with client staff

• Ensure timely completion of assignment
  
  Required Skills & Competencies:

  Technical Skills:

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, basic formulas)

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint)

  • Basic understanding of accounting and audit procedures

  Audit Skills:

  • Knowledge of internal audit processes

  • Understanding of inventory control and workshop operations (preferred)

  • Ability to detect discrepancies and control weaknesses

  Other Skills:

  • Good analytical and problem-solving ability

  • Strong communication and reporting skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
    Mandatory Requirements:

    • Own 2-wheeler with valid driving license

    • Willingness to travel extensively for audit assignments
