## Job Summary
PGS & Associates is looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Audit Assistant with 3–4 years of experience in audit, accounting, and taxation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to statutory and internal audits, financial accounting, tax compliance, and client coordination. The candidate must be willing to travel for audit assignments and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
## Key Responsibilities
• Assist in conducting statutory, internal, and tax audits for clients.
• Verify financial records, accounting entries, and supporting documents.
• Prepare audit working papers, schedules, and audit reports.
• Review financial statements and identify discrepancies or compliance issues.
• Support GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance activities.
• Prepare and reconcile books of accounts, ledgers, and financial reports.
• Coordinate with clients to collect required documents and resolve audit queries.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.
• Assist senior auditors in completing audit assignments within timelines.
• Travel to client locations for audit and verification work as required.
## Required Skills
• Strong knowledge of Accounting, Auditing, GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
• Experience in statutory audit, internal audit, and tax compliance.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Tally or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and client-handling abilities.
• Willingness to travel for audit assignments.
## Eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• CA Inter, CMA Inter, or other relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• 3–4 years of relevant experience in audit, accounts, and taxation.
## Preferred Candidate Profile
• Experience working in a CA firm or audit consultancy.
• Ability to manage multiple client assignments efficiently.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of meeting deadlines.
• Flexible to travel for client audits whenever required.
