Job Description: Audit Assistant

Location: Santacruz (East/West), Mumbai
Experience: 1–2+ years
Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Negotiable based on expertise)

Key Responsibilities

Audit Execution: Assist in conducting statutory, internal, and tax audits for various clients, including corporate and non-corporate entities.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive audit working papers, files, and reports in accordance with auditing standards.
Compliance: Handle statutory compliance tasks, including GST filings, TDS calculations, and Income Tax returns.
Financial Review: Verify the accuracy of financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts (Bank, GST, and Vendor).
Fieldwork: Assist senior auditors during client site visits and fieldwork to gather necessary financial data and address inquiries.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education: Graduate (b.com)
Software: Strong proficiency in Tally (ERP 9/Prime) and MS Excel (Advanced formulas, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
Technical Knowledge: Basic to solid understanding of Accounting Standards, GST laws, TDS provisions, and finalisation of balance sheets.
Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to meet strict audit deadlines.
