About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant to support our Accounts and Finance Department. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of accounting principles, GST compliance, bookkeeping, and day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.

• Prepare and record purchase, sales, receipt, and payment entries.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts.

• Assist in GST calculations, return preparation, and compliance.

• Prepare invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.

• Verify bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.

• Maintain vendor and customer account records.

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.

• Support statutory audits and internal audits.

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.

• Coordinate with other departments for financial data and documentation.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Accounting Principles and Bookkeeping.

• Working knowledge of GST and TDS.

• Proficiency in MS Excel.

• Experience with accounting software such as Tally Prime.

• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

Educational Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

• Additional accounting certifications will be an advantage.

Experience

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of PF, ESIC, and payroll processing.

• Experience in preparing MIS reports.

• Familiarity with ERP systems.
