An Accounts Manager (Finance) oversees a company's day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and team management. They ensure fiscal compliance, manage ledgers, and deliver data-driven financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
Core Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze accurate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Ledger Management: Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger reconciliations.
Tax & Compliance: Ensure transactions comply with local tax laws and accounting standards, managing internal and external audits.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
Assist leadership with budget creation, expense monitoring, and financial forecasting.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise junior accounting staff, fostering a high-performance department.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement upgrades to accounting software and financial controls to streamline workflows.

Key Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional certifications like CA, CPA, or ACCA added advantage).
Experience: Typically 3-5 years in corporate accounting or financial management.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, high attention to detail, strong leadership, and communication skills.
