Senior Accounts Executive – Job Description

Salary: 25-30000

# Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, GST/TDS compliance, bank reconciliation, and support overall financial management of the company. The candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and experience in handling financial records accurately.

#Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and bookkeeping

• Handle Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable

• Prepare vouchers, invoices, debit notes, and purchase entries

• Perform bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny

• Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance reports

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

• Prepare MIS reports and financial statements

• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments

• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients/vendors

• Supervise junior accounts staff when required 

#Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles

• Good command of Tally ERP / Tally Prime and MS Excel

• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance

• Attention to detail and analytical skills

• Good communication and problem-solving ability

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines 

#Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA Finance

• 3–6 years of experience in Accounts & Finance

• Experience in GST filing, reconciliation, and reporting preferred

# Preferred Software Knowledge

• Tally Prime / ERP

• MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table preferred)

• Accounting & billing software
