Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
verify purchase invoices, sales invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and expense bills.
Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up with concerned departments/customers/vendors.
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts.
Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports as required by management.
Maintain proper documentation and records for all accounting transactions.
Assist with GST, TDS, other statutory compliance requirements.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, customers, and government authorities when required.
Support the preparation of GST returns and reconciliation of purchase/sales data with accounting records.
Verify expenses and ensure proper authorization and supporting documents.
Assist in maintaining fixed asset registers and depreciation records.
Support inventory accounting and reconciliation with physical stock and ERP records.
Coordinate with the purchase, sales, stores, production, and HR departments regarding accounting-related matters.
Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
Perform other finance and accounting duties assigned by management.
