Job Title: Accounts Head
Location: MIDC, Andheri (E), Mumbai

About the Role: We are looking for an experienced and strategic Accounts Head to lead the end-to-end accounting, finance, and statutory compliance functions of the organization. The role involves overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring timely statutory compliances, preparing and reviewing financial statements, coordinating audits, and managing the accounts team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Overall responsibility for statutory compliances, ensuring completion on or before cut-off

2. dates.Finalization and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

3. Preparation, review, and monitoring of Trial Balance and General Ledger.

4. Complete ownership of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

5. Handling and reconciliation of GST returns including GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, and GSTR-9C.

6. Working knowledge and review of Form 26AS, TDS, and Income Tax Returns (company and individual).

7. Coordination and support for internal, statutory, and tax audits.

8. Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, taxation laws, and company policies.

9. Strong involvement in financial planning, cost control, and reporting to management.

10. Team leadership: managing, mentoring, and supervising junior accounting staff.

11. Liaison with auditors, consultants, banks, and statutory authorities as required.

Candidate Requirements:

l Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in manufacturing or industrial organizations.

l Education: M.Com / Inter CA / B.Com.

l Mandatory: Hands-on experience with SAP.

l Strong knowledge of statutory compliance, GST, Income Tax, and accounting standards.

l High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

l Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

l Strong organizational and communication abilities.
