Job DescripƟ on for Sr. Accountant

Role Summary

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling statutory

compliance, preparing financial reports, and supporƟ ng day-to-day accounƟ ng operaƟ ons of the

organizaƟ on.

2. QualificaƟ on : B com /Mcom / CA inter

3. Experience : 5 + Years

4. Languages : English , hindi , Telugu

5. Mandatory : Ms Excel , Ms word , Tally , accounƟ ng principles need to be

thorough knowledge

6. Role and responsibility :

7. Accounts & Bookkeeping

Maintain books of accounts ,Pass journal entries ,Record sales, purchases, receipts, and

payments ,Maintain ledgers and vouchers ,Prepare trial balance

8. Banking & ReconciliaƟ on

9. Bank reconciliaƟ on statements (BRS) ,Monitor cash flow ,Handle online banking transacƟ ons

Coordinate with banks for documentaƟ on

10. GST & TaxaƟ on

Prepare and file GST returns ,Reconcile GSTR-2B and purchase registers ,Handle TDS

deducƟ ons and returns ,Assist in income tax compliance ,Maintain statutory records

11. Accounts Payable & Receivable

Vendor payment processing ,Customer invoicing ,Follow-up on receivables ,Ageing analysis

12. Payroll Support

13. Salary processing ,PF, ESI, PT calculaƟ ons ,Employee reimbursements

AddiƟ onal Preference is given to

1. Import and export accounƟ ng / invoicing

2. LC / BG/ od preparaƟ on

3. Good at communicaƟ on , interpersonal skills

4. CooordinaƟ on with other departments

5. Financial planning and Monitoring

14. Budget – 3.5-4.5 CTC per annum

15. Immediate or One month

16. References – atleast one / two

17. Relieving leƩ er from previous organizaƟ on and experience cerƟ ficate .

18. Pay slip of the last drawn salary
